Background

Mia Foley was named one of the top therapists in the Washington, D.C. area by Washingtonian magazine. She is a graduate of The American University, and received her clinical training at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts Mental Health Center, the Yale University Center for Eating and Weight Disorders, and Yale Medical School/Connecticut Mental Health Center. Dr. Foley currently provides cognitive-behavioral and integrative therapy in private practice and is working with the Capital Institute to increase access to mental health services throughout the DC region. Dr. Foley does not see patients at the Capital Institute.
