Background

Jessica Nemeth has been providing cognitive-behavioral and integrative therapy at CICT since 2012, and provides supervision to our trainees. Her clinical areas of focus are the treatment of depression and anxiety disorders, OCD, grief and loss, and trichotillomania/skin picking. She has a special interest in health, including coping with chronic medical conditions, infertility and its treatment, and pregnancy loss. Dr. Nemeth has completed training at the Trichotillomania Learning Center’s Professional Training Institute in the CBT-based treatment for trichotillomania and skin-picking disorder She has previously worked at George Mason University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, Howard University’s Counseling Services, and Children’s Hospital Eating Disorders Clinic. Dr. Nemeth is a graduate of the American School of Professional Psychology, and is a Licensed Psychologist in DC and Virginia. She sees patients in our Washington, DC office. She is also able to provide telehealth services to patients in PSYPACT states.
