Jayne Snisky, M.A. is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at The Chicago School, Washington DC. Her extensive experience spans a diverse clientele ranging from children to adults. She has experience providing individual and group therapy, as well as administering and scoring psychological assessments to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning through her work in private practice settings including Potomac Behavioral Solutions, Integrative Psychological Services, and Prince William Family Counseling. With a commitment to a holistic and person-centered treatment approach, Jayne integrates a variety of therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness/acceptance-based strategies. She strives to create a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment tailored to each individual’s unique needs, believing it to be fundamental for clients to effectively pursue their healing and growth. Jayne’s clinical interests are diverse, encompassing ADHD, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, and support through life transitions. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jayne enjoys exploring new dining experiences, spending quality time with friends and family, engaging in fitness activities, and enjoying the great outdoors.
