Diane Lameira, Ph.D., is a graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She completed her predoctoral internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Adult Health Psychology at the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she gained experience conducting pre-surgical evaluations and providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to individuals managing chronic medical conditions and co-occurring anxiety and depression. Dr. Lameira pursued a second postdoctoral fellowship at the Capital Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CICBT) to gain advanced training in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She also has experience providing gender-affirming care for LGBTIQA+ individuals.
Dr. Lameira takes a compassionate and collaborative approach in therapy, partnering with clients to help them achieve their goals and build a sense of empowerment. She is licensed as a psychologist in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, and offers telehealth services to clients in PSYPACT states.
