Offering In Person and Teletherapy Sessions

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to change, we remain committed to the health and safety of our patients and to providing needed support and psychological services.

We have resumed offering in-person sessions.  All Capital Institute clinicians have been given the option of continuing to do sessions remotely or to offer in-person sessions.  Some continue to provide only teletherapy, some are now working primarily in person, and most are offering both.  In order to protect the health of our patients and staff, especially those who might be more vulnerable, masks are required in the waiting room and common areas of our offices.  Masks are option during sessions.

We continue to offer teletherapy to all new and current patients using our HIPAA-secure video conference platform.  Our patients have expressed a high level of satisfaction with teletherapy.  Because of the newly formed Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact, we are now able to offer teletherapy services to residents of 34 states.  Teletherapy may not be appropriate in some situations.

If you are a current patient and interested in doing in-person sessions, please talk to your therapist about whether/when they are offering this option.

If you are interested in setting up an initial appointment for teletherapy or in-person therapy, please call our New Patient Coordinator at 202-234-0903 ext 15 or click here.
