Two Institute leaders get top grades from mental-health professionals

Two Capital Institute therapists were named to Washingtonian magazine’s most recent (July 2009) list of Top Therapists, based on a survey of mental health professionals.

Dr. Stephen Holland, Director of the Institute, was named as a top therapist for Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Initial Consultation/ Evaluation, Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Phobias. Dr. Holland provides consultation to all staff therapists of CICT on a regular basis.

Dr. Tara Thompson-Guldseth, the Institute’s Training Director, was named as a top therapist for Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder.
