Dr. Stephen Holland, Director of the Capital Institute, gave three presentations at the April 2014 international meeting of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI) in Montreal.
He gave a clinical workshop on integrative psychotherapy titled “Practicing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy within a Psychodynamically Informed Integrative Perspective.” In addition he presented a paper on training therapists to practice integrative therapy and participated in a panel discussing a case combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (a variant of CBT) with psychoanalytic treatment.
Dr. Holland was also invited to give a workshop on integrative therapy for local clinicians in Montreal who were not part of the conference. SEPI is the leading international organization promoting the integration of different schools of psychotherapy.
