Since it was founded over 16 years ago, Capital Institute for Cognitive Therapy has been a leading provider of research-based cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT). We are pleased to announce that in addition to our two locations in downtown Washington DC, we will be opening a new office in Bethesda, MD starting January 2020.
We will bring the same commitment to expert treatment and compassionate care to the new location. Experienced therapists from our DC practice will now also be seeing patients in Bethesda.
The new office will be located at 4833 Bethesda Ave, in the heart of bustling Bethesda Row. Public parking is available next door. The Bethesda metro stop is less than a 5-minute walk away. Several shops and restaurants are located nearby.
Capital Institute specializes in providing research-based treatments for a wide range of problems, including depression, bipolar disorder, stress management, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), test anxiety, panic, eating disorders, trichotillomania, skin picking, emotional dysregulation, and relationship issues.
In addition to knowing the empirically-supported CBT treatments for specific problems, our staff has experience with the latest mindfulness and acceptance based CBT approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
The Bethesda office is scheduled to open in January 2020. We will begin accepting referrals for the new office after December 15. For more information, please call our New Patient Coordinators at 202-234-0903, or fill out this form:
